Magnus Textor

Senior A&R Virgin Records / Universal Music

Born in ‘93 and raised in Munich Magnus Textor started working in the music industry at a small independent label. After joining forces with Sony on a band project in 2012, he moved over to Columbia Records and became A&R Manager. During his time at Columbia Germany he signed artists like Purple Disco Machine, Kaskade, Filous and Italobrothers. In beginning of 2018 he moved over to Virgin Records in Berlin as Senior A&R Manager after Universal Music launched its new electronic label division. The label now stands for artists like Felix Jaehn, R3HAB, Meduza, Martin Jensen, Tiesto, Showtek, Martin Solveig, Nico Santos amongst many others. During his time at Virgin he signed artists like Don Diablo, Fisher, Topic, Klingande, Wankelmut, Thomas Gold, Rompasso, Keanu Silva, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Timmy Trumpet, Chris Lake, collecting various Gold and platinum records.
