With no introduction needed after the release of his remix of El Profesor’s ‘Bella Ciao’ (voted Official German Summer Hit 2018 by GfK), DJ & Producer HUGEL is creating a sure fire buzz in the industry. After releasing the certified gold record with Robin Schulz ‘I Believe I’m Fine’ in 2017, HUGEL was the DJ everyone was talking about by 2018. Besides teaming up with R&B superstar Taio Cruz on his single release ‘Signs’, his remix of ‘Bella Ciao’ has become the biggest party anthem of 2018. With over 280 million streams worldwide, the remix has reached Platinum Status in GSA and Gold in France. Regardless of his success, HUGEL is constantly producing new hits. With his single ‘WTF’ that was released end of 2018, he proved that he is staying on top of the game. The song featuring Amber van Day, made its way straight to the charts and has reached nearly 58 million streams worldwide on all platforms. HUGEL’s recently released banger ‘House Music’ made it straight to the Top on Beatport, can be found on several huge Spotify playlists and already has nearly 200k streams. He has not only remixed songs for and worked with top billboard artists such as Charlie Puth, David Guetta, Robin Schulz, J. Balvin, Tiesto, or Post Malone, but is also on the line-ups for some of the biggest festivals in the world including Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Lollapalooza, and Parookaville. After being the opening act of David Guetta’s European Arena Tour in 2018, he also had his first residency in Ibiza, playing monthly at Ushuaia’s party BIG by David Guetta as well at the legendary Pacha. 2019 was an extremely important year for HUGEL. Besides entering the US market successfully, he also played the Main Stage at Tomorrowland for the first time. It is sure that it won’t be the last time.
Currently HUGEL plays around 120 live shows a year, has 250 million streams and 3.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 150 million views on his YouTube Channel. HUGEL is represented by Stefan Dabruck Management, is signed to Warner Music, and has a publishing deal with BMG. With his current developments he is definitely making a name for himself in the international music industry.
