BIOGRAPHY

The constant search for individuality, an intoxicating mix of smooth tunes and a breeze of the past decades leads us straight to the music of a young talented German artist – LOVRA. Born and raised in Limburg, Germany, LOVRA discovered her love for music already in her childhood and therefore developed a pronounced feeling for rhythms as well as a strong affinity for creativity at an early age. While she decided to study Communication Design at the Academy of Visual Arts in Frankfurt, her interest in music grew constantly. Her creative urge made her move to Berlin, which she claims was one of the best decisions she ever made. Berlin, being an epicenter of artistic and creative freedom, is the perfect place for her to find impulses and inspiration for new music.
LOVRA combines musical influences from the 80s and 90s and modern melodies as well as groovy house tunes, which she refines with striking vocals and danceable UK house beats in order to deliver her own distinctive sound. She has enchanted crowds of this year’s festival season at major events such as Melt!, Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Helene Beach, Nature One, Love Sea or Artlake. The highlight of the summer was definitely her official residency at David Guetta’s BIG party in Ibiza, playing 17 shows together with Guetta at the world’s famous Ushuaia. Having been a member of the Ministry Of Sound roster for more than three years now, LOVRA has already dropped beats in major cities like Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai or London and played as support for legendary acts like Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry, Felix da Housecat and many more. She has also done remixes for artists like Robin Schulz, Alle Farben or Jax Jones and has had over one million streams on her remix of Robin Schulz & Piso 21’s hit ‘Oh Child’ on Spotify. On her latest single ‚Always on My Mind’ LOVRA collaborated with the DJ and Producer Nick Martin. LOVRA is looking forward to work with many more big talents of the industry in the future. She is currently signed to Stefan Dabruck Management and Kontor Records and is certainly working hard to rise all the way to the top. After a successful 2018, LOVRA is setting up her release plan for the coming months and has set her goals high for 2019 with many festivals, collaborations and residencies to come.

Mabel & Rich the Kid’s song ‘Ring Ring’ has gotten over 15k streams on Shazam. Highlighting the summer of 2018 was her official residency at David Guetta’s BIG party in Ibiza, playing 17 shows together with Guetta at the world’s famous Ushuaia. Being a member of the Ministry Of Sound roster for three years now, LOVRA has already dropped beats in major cities like Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai or London and played as support for legendary acts like Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry, Felix da Housecat and many more. LOVRA is currently signed with Stefan Dabruck Management and Kontor Records. Her track “My Beat” that was released with Kontor Records, immediately took over the German Spotify playlist “Dance Brandneu” with its fresh sound. For her latest single “Always On My Mind”, she teamed up with Nick Martin and has planned more collaborations for 2019! She currently has around 78,2k monthly listeners on Spotify, 40,3k Followers on Instagram and 48,5k on Facebook. After a very successful summer this year, we can all be curious of what is coming next as she set her goals high for 2019.
