Club & Festival Promoter / Musik Manager
Munich native Row Weber has worked as a club & festival promoter since 1998. He represented one of the biggest German online “nightlife”communities Nachtagenten as their leading sales force before the times of Facebook. The company was eventually bought by Hubert Burda Media, one of Europe’s biggest media companies.
With over ten years working as a talent buyer and head of marketing for Munich’s famous club P1, he has proven to be a long-time favorite when it comes to choosing the right talent and a new way of engaging guests and fans digitally for this venue.
He has booked several hundred artists during this time – from Pharrell to Calvin Harris to even smaller buzzing artists who were providing more credibility to a extremely mainstream focused scene. Row Weber still runs a digital agency called Dearfolks providing social media and PR services for artists, clubs and labels with customers like The Chainsmokers, Warner, Armada or Sony.
After leaving P1, taking over Munich’s popular club Erste Liga, opening his own underground club venue there and starting his Uberbass Event Series, he brought artists like Zedd, Baauer, Carnage, Zeds Dead to Munich before they even peaked in the United States. During this time he also founded a management company Golden Ratio Mgmt for EDM artists working with US producers and mainly working out of NYC and LA for five years.
One of his first signings, artist Seven Lions, catapulted within only a year to a top 300 DJ being signed to Skrillex’s Owsla Records and later dealt with Republic/Casablanca Records. Seven Lions also landed slots on all major festivals (Lollapallooza, EDC, Shambala). His EP went as high as #2 on iTunes Dance and held the #1 spot on Beatport for several months. Featurings with Tove Lo and Ellie Goulding paved the way for Seven Lions’ amazing over 40 million streams only on Spotify with three EPs.
Further projects represented by Row and his team: Paper Diamond, jackLNDN, NEBBRA, Lindsay Lowend, Party Thieves, Gylzey, Vaski, Aosoon, Cabu, Delusion, Goodluck, nomnomvega, Figgy etc.
His team and himself are also supporting the popular Majestic Casual Youtube channel on the A&R side on their Label Imprint Majestic Records as well as their event series MLive. Recents events were held together with the promoters of internationally known festival Coachella in LA and New York’s famous Webster Hall in 2016.
